When designing the Mustang Horseshoe, we wanted to make a horseshoe that everyone could pitch with ease for both modes of pitching, the turn and the flip and it does just that. It’s double-sided cleats on the tips of the shoe make it a truly universal type horseshoe because no matter how you hold it, it always lands cleats down! It is equally good for both turn and flip pitching, making it superb for doubles play when one player throws a turn and the other a flip, solving the problem of who’s shoes to throw… the answer is Mustang! For the flip pitcher, it has a couple of additional features… the rear thumb cleat features a smooth, rounded thumb depression to help find the cetner every time and it also has a centered notch to help guide the fingers to the center as well. For the turn player, it has long blades with smooth rounded edges which allow it to pull out of the hand easily without getting hung up on the fingertips. This horseshoe is truly the best of both worlds… It’s definitely a great shoe to cut your teeth on if you’re just starting to develop a consistent turn or flip.
